The Panoram PV720 FRM with the MK4-CS flight case offers
vast screen real-estate and powerful visualization
capabilities in a rugged, field-deployable unit that
sets up and tears down in under ten minutes using two people.
The shock-mounted, 5.76 Megapixel resolution display (4800 x 1200)
neatly wraps around the operator in a three channel flat panel array
that measures 48.4" X 12.1" (122.9 X 30.7 cm) in size.
The clarity and vast screen real estate provided by
this display is compatible with nearly all computing
platforms including Apple Mac OS, HP, SGI, Sun and Windows/NT
if the computer is properly configured with appropriate
output graphics cards.
The system incorporates a host of valuable features starting
with an analog D-sub and a digital DVI-I input for each panel.
This allows for a main multi-channel visualization computer plus
additional devices, such as laptops, workstations, and even HD
satelite feeds via the DVI-I connectors.
The unit also features an integrated USB hub providing one port
on the front panel as well as one on the rear panel.
Each screen has a central control cluster featuring an on/off
switch as well as control buttons for the screen OSD (on-screen
display), including "ONE-TOUCH" manual switching of input sources.
