A.
Yes, Linux will work on our PV230 series. We have recently integrated a 3-computer network cluster, which successfully uses Flight Gear software to render OpenGL simulations.

Q. Can one Linux box be used on the PV230 using multiple video cards.
A. Yes, this is possible, however configuration of Linux OS is challenging and should be configured by a qualified Linux programmer.

Q. Are there any companies that have successfully used the PV Series displays with Linux?
A.Codehost based in Beverly Hills, California, demonstrated the use of a PV series monitor with Linux and Flight Gear Simulations at the 2002 Comdex Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Q. Is there any graphics cards that are compatible with Linux.
A. There are several graphics cards vendor that provide software drivers for Linux. 3D labs and Nvidia offer Linux drivers on their web site and Matrox's new Parhelia™ graphics cards have announced future support for Linux.
