Q. What do I need to make my Macintosh® computer work on Panoram's desktop displays?
A.
Any Macintosh computer that meets your performance needs can be configured with a combination of video cards to give three outputs. However, any Macintosh with a single video output will only display on a single panel.

Q. Can Panoram supply the video card for my computer?
A. We can supply you with an video card that is appropriate for the Macintosh on both Mac OS9 and Mac OSX. Please contact your Panoram Technologies, Inc. sales representative for pricing and availability.

Q. Will the ATI Radeon video cards provide me with three screen OpenGL support for the PV series displays?
A. Yes. OpenGL is native to the Radeon Video cards and will provide OpenGL support, Please note that some applications are hard coded to provide only one screen OpenGL.

Q. Will the ATI Radeon solution provide me with three screen Quartz Extreme performance?
A. Apple introduced 10.2 in late August of 2002 with a new technology called Quartz Extreme. Quartz Extreme is currently only supported on the video card installed in a single AGP slot.

Q. Can I achieve independent resolutions on the PV Series displays with the video cards listed above or do all panel have to have the same resolution?
A. Yes independent resolutions can be achieved on the PV series displays. Each of the three panels can be set to different resolution. Typically, the maximum resolution is used on the PV series displays to take advantage of the vast real estate offered by the technology.
