Panoram PixelBlaster® Centerpiece of Defense & Intelligence Showcase at ESRI International User Conference

Panoram Technologies, a leading provider and integrator of advanced display systems, was invited by ESRI to attend this year's international user conference in San Diego, June 18 - 22, 2007. Panoram's PixelBlaster® will be the centerpiece of the ESRI Defense and Intelligence Showcase with its large scale visualization system delivering scalable, high resolution immersive imaging.

Panoram's booth, D-534, will feature a 16' x 9' screen showcasing Panoram's PixelBlaster visualization solution. The PixelBlaster system utilizes a new SXRD projection technology providing an unprecedented 8.85 million pixels of resolution from a dual lamp industrial-grade projector.

"Panoram offers industry leading innovation in visualization technologies," said William Harp, Defense Business Development, ESRI. "We are pleased to be leveraging their unparalleled advances in large scale, high resolution screens to highlight several ESRI software solution demonstrations."

"ESRI is the proven leader in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS)," said Theo Mayer, Panoram's CEO. "To be invited as a premier vendor to their user conference is not only an honor but an exciting opportunity for us to showcase some noteworthy technology advances that offer significant value to the GIS community."

GIS is a system for management, analysis, and display of geographic knowledge, which is represented using a series of information sets such as maps and globes, geographic data sets, processing and work flow models, data models, and metadata.

Harp continued, "The unprecedented resolution of Panoram's systems effectively demonstrates the capabilities of our newest software products."

At the show, Panoram will also be introducing its second generation digital imaging table, the DIT-2. This new visualization system leverages the same amazing resolution as the PixelBlaster but in a collaborative table format. Mayer stated, "The digital table format is an up and coming form that is proving to be a great way to work on a variety of tasks." More details will be revealed when the official announcement is released at the show.

Taking place at San Diego Convention Center, California, June 18-22, the 27th Annual ESRI International User Conference is the largest GIS event of the year, hosting more than 15,000 people from 120 countries. Go to www.esri.com/uc for more information.
