'Washington D.C. Representative' Joseph Marinich Named to
Panoram Sales Team
SUN VALLEY (CA), WASHINGTON (D.C.), February 21, 2002-Joseph
Marinich has joined Panoram Technologies as the company's
Washington D.C. Representative in behalf of Panoram government
and military visualization solutions efforts. Working with
Panoram Director of Government Business Cal Leuning, Marinich
will call on his background in federal policy, legislation
and program execution to expand and coordinate the company's
service and support to various U.S. agencies.
His role includes locating sales opportunities and securing
sales in the government market by establishing key contacts,
structuring Panoram participation in GSA and other contract
vehicles and establishing partnerships with government contractors
and resellers.
Currently, Panoram's global deployment of advanced display
systems supports agencies such as: DISA, DTRA, NAWC, NUWC,
SPAWAR, TACOM, USAF, US Army and US Navy.
Marinich, with a B.S. in Agricultural Science, an M.S. in
Urban Policy and Planning and extensive post-graduate studies
at George Washington University and Harvard, has been active
in public service for the past 25 years as a resident of the
Washington, D.C. area. His career background includes federal
government purchases in service to nearly all agencies in
the civilian and military sectors, including authoring/securing
the first national GSA Schedule for government purchase of
LCD projection panels. In the private sector, he was co-founder
of three businesses in cable television, computer training
and audio visual markets.
Also noteworthy are his creation of a national association
serving state governments and the facts that he testified
before Congress and has served on White House policy councils.
Announcing the addition of Marinich, Panoram President/CEO
Theo Mayer said, "Our need for expanded services, especially
to sources in the D.C. and Virginia areas, requires the expertise
and familiarity that Joe possesses, to work in concert with
Cal and his own strong background in deploying visualization
systems to government installations." Leuning, who holds
an MBA from California State University, joined the company
in June of 2000 with more than 10 years experience with federal
IT programs. "This is a natural pairing," Mayer
says, "supported by a seasoned technology team at Panoram."
Panoram Technologies, headquartered in Sun Valley, California,
manufactures advanced extreme-resolution display systems for
facility, workgroup and desktop applications. Panoram's collaborative
visualization environments enable project teams worldwide-throughout
military/government, oil/gas, design and multimedia production
industries-to achieve unprecedented levels of productivity
and effectiveness.
