PANORAM'S MULTI-PRESENCE AT SIGGRAPH 2001 INCLUDES AFTER-HOURS
HEWLETT-PACKARD PRODUCT PREMIER LOS ANGELES
August 14, 2001--Panoram Technologies Inc., manufacturers
of extreme-resolution display systems for advanced facility,
workgroup and desktop visualization applications, will showcase
several desktop visualization solutions at SIGGRAPH 2001,
August 14-16, in booth #2428, including the exciting new ability
to drive Panoram's multi-panel displays from a laptop computer.
Additionally, a Media 100 non-linear video editing demonstration
will be featured on the Panoram PV230 DSK Advanced Display,
while the PV290 DSK will demonstrate the just-introduced SOFTIMAGE®|XSI's
"Virtual Layout" architecture that features this
prominent animations package's ability to define and save
workspace layout preferences.
"The PANORAM PV SERIES and Softimage XSI's ability to
allow the animator to redesign the software's layout not only
enhances the user experience by expanding the software's visual
real estate, but also affords the user the ability to reshape
XSI into a customizable application environment. We view it
as an elegant design and expect it to be rapidly adopted as
a standard for animation ergonomics," said Michael Stojda,

The Sun Valley, California company, whose worldwide reputation
includes solutions for oil and gas, military and government,
design and multimedia production industries, will also claim
a representative presence at the exhibitor booths of TGS,
CG2, Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard.
As an added attraction after show hours on August 15, Panoram
will host an exclusive launch event for Hewlett-Packard, of
the HP sv6, being billed as "the world's newest and fastest
visualization system." An "unforgettable presentation"
will be made on Panoram's 9'x20' Panowall facility display.
It will feature two Christie Mirage 5000 Active Stereo DLP
Projectors with Panoram's patented Video Panoram® Edge-Blending.
The partnership invitational premier is set for Panoram's
corporate headquarters in Sun Valley.
Guests will tour the facility and experience not only a first-ever
stereo, 3D sv6 presentation on such a large screen-but also
a menu of other HP/Panoram product displays. Among these will
be a display with four projectors stacked in a 2x2 configuration
with Panoram's Seamless Matrix Edge-Blending (SMB) Technology
and more.
