PANORAM AND CHRISTIE DIGITAL PROVIDE A MORE DEPLOYABLE VISUALIZATION SOLUTION
Multi-Million Dollar Deal Promises Better Solutions in Large Scale Visualization Systems

Orlando, FL, November 27, 2000 - In a major commitment to the advanced visualization market, Christie Digital and Panoram Technologies have signed a deal worth $3,500,000 (U.S.). Under the agreement, Christie Digital will supply their high performance data projectors to Panoram, a California based leader in advanced display systems. Christie Digital will be the projector brand for all Panoram "Facility" systems, including curved screen and flat screen formats.

These Facility systems are the heart and soul of large-scale visualization and represent state of the art in advanced computing. They are fully integrated into buildings, facilities and operation centers, providing extremely powerful group Virtual Reality capabilities. The displays are capable of full scale, immersive imaging for collaborative project work that spans a wide range of scientific, industrial and commercial applications.

Christie Digital and Panoram Technologies also announce plans to work closely on enhancing the worldwide technical support for these special projects that include visualization, simulation, entertainment and military command/control room integration. Each company will be providing proprietary technologies, engineering expertise and integration services to enhance the design, delivery and support of these solutions--bringing together some of the strongest technology/engineering talent in the industry.
